The Intercontinental Connection continues!

Discipline and Bombidol hooked up in Dublin last week.
Random and I grabbed lunch in London today.

Mattybar lives around the block, but we haven't met up yet, despite M.Alki having positively ID'ed me on the street!

I want that Blood For Blood shirt

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

So when you said you had to go to work, you meant you had to go home and post on the Thorp board?

Got all my stuff taken care of at school, but here's another indication of my luck... that external HD needs to be initialized, but only network administrators can do that on the LSE computers, so it didn't really server it's purpose yet. Luckily, I could dump important things on a flash drive and upload everything to yousendit, so I can dowload it to the HD later.

It would be cool to get all our pics together in a thread or something. All the times we meet up that is. Its not often this happens so it would be cool to compile them and add new ones as we go. Just a thought.

kinda post hardcore sort of stuff.
www.myspace.com/alabastersuns

www.crobar.co.uk
17 Manette St
London, W1D 4AS

i'll be hanging about there for a while tonight but not mad late as i gotta attend a funeral tomorrow.

if you haven't checked it out yet, Crobar is cool as fuck.
Grimey and tiny but a great selection of whiskies, great jukebox and always good people hanging out.

avoid the club next door though. awful.

Met up with Matty and M.Alki last night here in the 'hood.

No pics, though, so I guess it didn't happen.
Does a mild hangover count as proof?
(Perhaps following up three pints of Guinness with brandy wasn't the best idea. Fuck it!)
Anyway, thanks for the hospitality, guys.

Somewhat ironic to wake up to 3rdDistrict's post about the 9 Bar show.
Keep us posted on the fall tour.
Definitely see ya then.

HAHA, i hope it does!
Gotta love Ms. Tony...
When I get home, i'll see if I can dig up any of my old DJ Techniques mixes.
Of course, they're all on cassette!

Keep me posted on the trip.
