I got the go-ahead on my visa today

So I'm going to Switzerland in a few weeks. God doesn't hate me... he just likes fucking with me way too much. I feel like Ziggy from "The Wire."

no place yet. i've seen others get places from a distance, and it rarely works out well. and all the zurich sites are in german, which i don't understand. so i'll hit up the summer program they're paying for, and then use the two weeks before the semester starts to crash in a hostel and find a place.

but getting this visa has been a fucking nightmare that i wasn't convinced would be resolved in time, so i'm pretty damn happy at the moment.
