I tried to listen to Sun O)))))) on youtube at work on Friday since one of my friends was talking about them. Not my cup of tea, i just wanted it to
get faster or something all i got out of it was 9 plus minutes for one song i didn't get. I guess slow as guitair and strange hissing screams is an
acquired taste.
Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

Some shit is like that, but some bands shred the fuck out of shit. The bands I listed are gnarly and they get fast and wild. Then if your lucky they
break it down slow, a bottle of rye is empty, the weed is gone, a guitar solo kicks you in the ass and you scream fuck off out the window for no real
reason. Forget about it.

i've been getting quite into sludge/doom/stoner whatever you want to call it over the last year but am still a total new jack when it comes to the
classics.
i've come across some pretty cool stuff though.
check out Red Fang. They have an awesome video on youtube called 'prehistoric dog'.
More straight rock than stoner rock.
Kinda reminds me of Motorhead meets Black Sabbath or something.
If you like the more epic style then check out Yob. (myspace.com/yobdoom)
Fast becoming my favourite band.
It's just... epic... can't think of another word to describe it. Might require a bit of patience at first but stick with it. Makes me want to learn to
play properly and write 20 minute long songs.
If you want something more, dare i say it, poppy then check out Torche.
They kinda remind me of 'siamese dream'-era Smashing Pumpkins mixed with 'betty'-era Helmet mixed with Foo Fighters and then they chuck in these
really huge, fat detuned parts that make you want to set fire to everything.
