Bahai. Vegan Reich's last EP had an entire chapter of the Qur'an in Arabic and English on the back cover. Racetraitor had a song that had a few verses
from the Qur'an being recited in the background.
I'm angry, and real. This Michael Muhammad Knight character is a turd, IMO and the kids that follow his ideas are morons. |

Hey, that was my pleasure. Seriously.
Something else about the Taqwacores that should piss people off... Michael Muhammad Knight also villifies people who take Islam seriously by having a
band who are actually religious in the story, but who turn out to be assholes and beat up all the shithead drug addict kids that are the "heroes" of
the story. Of course, these "fundamentalist" Muslims who are playing in a punk/hardcore band also apparently dress much like skinheads under their
traditional Muslim robes...
In one fell swoop he's basically vilifying seriously religious Muslims who have had enough with the bullshit from the shitty kids at the show; and
equating them with skins. I honestly hate that guy.
