Good question. I LOVED everybody out when they opened for DKM. This has to be an awesome show. Great news Mark!

I think it's some young kid. Haven't seen them with the new guy yet. For a while they had Paul Russo (Pinkerton Thugs) singing for them and they
recorded some songs that were out of this world. But that didn't work out and they have another kid. Some people around here have seen them play and
said they were great. But you can't replace Sweeney really..... I mean, they can go on without him but his personality is one of a kind.
Of course, Rick Barton has had some success before replacing a singer so I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Sweeney re-formed the Dead Pets. He is one of my favorite frontmen. (although on cd i don't think you get half as much of the personality)

it was a bummer that Everybody Out didnt end up on the Slapshot tour. I guess it was a downsize of the tour in addition to them just getting the new
singer

I was looking forward to seeing them on the Old Skars & Upstarts tour, but apparently they got kicked off for starting some sort of drama before the
tour even got going.

The singer was better than I thought he was going to be. They played a new song which sounded good as well.
Different than Sweeny (no one is Sweeny though), but good. I think once he has a few more shows under his belt, he will really come into his own.

Sweeney is one of the best frontmen I've ever seen. But he isn't one of the best singers. So they lose a little and gain a little.
EO did covers of "Caps N' Bottles" and "Front Seat" by Dropkick Murphys. Hell.... Rick wrote those tunes so I guess it's cool. And it felt more
authentic than DKM or Street Dogs playing any of those old songs. Seeing them do those tunes in Portland gave me chills. Such great performed. Played
so well. Sang by someone who is up there for the love of it and not the paycheck. It brought me back.
I expect great things from these guys going forward.
Another thing that became apparent to me on Sunday..... Far From Finished are the reigning Intercontinental Champions of Boston right now. Obviously
DKM are the champs. But FFF are the underdog champs..... second tier. When I introduced Steve to sing "I'll Rise Up", the place went berserk for him.
They're on their way.....
Thanks for coming out, Shawn.
