It's Slayer. Nothing really special about it but nothing really bad about it either.

I figure if Dave Mustaine can come out with a new record that might be the best thing he's done in his entire career then we need to stop making excuses for bands like Metallica and Slayer.

What a great point. Thank you. The last Megadeth album was out of sight and the talent of Dave shines like the sun on that album.

Its Slayer. This is what I expect from them. The song is good. Most folks would complain if it didn't sound like Reign In Blood.....and for the most part, the songs I've heard have that sound.

I have heard two songs from this album. The first one was much better than this one. That being said neither of them sounds anything like Reign In Blood, that sounds will never happen again.

The more I listen, the more I agree with ya.

I thought God Hates Us All was a solid record that sounded very much like Reign In Blood-esque Slayer.

Definately. Probably why I like this song most; Seasons has always been my favorite Slayer album. Reign In Blood is good, but overrated in my opinion.

I remember looking forward to 9/11 for God Hates Us All to be released. I bought it that day and remember thinking since we were under attack, we might get bombed. What better way to go out than listening to Slayer.

A lot of people love this record and I could never get into it. perhaps I need to re-visit this album.

--to avoid drama

might still be there, its actually a pretty solid album. for a band that hasn't written anything good in over 15 years seems like they got a second wind.

it's thin soundin.....one dimensional and done before

but then again i might be comparing this and a lot of other metal records to realm of chaos, which i hold as the benchmark of heaviness and crunch....
i bet it will sell well.

i donīt think itīs good to post download links of unreleased records here.

the new record is cool. very various. some hard slow numbers and good fast stuff. i like it a lot after three listenings.

LOL...if you're going to compare albums to Bolt Thrower you may as well just stop trying new shit. You're going to be let down 11 times out of 10.

^^^^^^^^^ I thought the same thing just now. Seasons is there best I think.

yeah it's really nothing spectacular...just slayer being slayer...which was refreshing after the last 3 or 4 turds they laid.

that being said....I'll probably be listening to Bolt Thrower in an hour.
