Flu Shots- you in?
We are debating in our house about Flu Shot and H1N1 for our Shortie. I have never had a flu shot of any sort.

Fuck no. Every time I've gotten any of those shots I get sick. I was just reading something that was saying there are something like 2000 strains of
flu virus and they choose from about ten of those for the shots and if you come in contact with one much different from what they innocculated you
with then it does no good anyway.

Not a fucking chance. Even if I believe in vaccines, the H1N1 has been around a few months and has not been remotely close to properly tested. No
fucking way.

One time I got it and I got a little cold afterward. So the next year I refused it completely and I got the flu so bad that I was seeing Mickey Mouse
in my bedroom. So yes, I will get it. And let me just add....

I've never had a flu shot. My grandma was against them because 'they make people sick' and I just have that in my head. So I guess until I get the flu
really bad one year I'll skip the shots.

I know plenty of people who get the shot and still get the flu and even more people who never get the shot and DON'T get the flu.
As far as I'm concerned it's some tin foil hat type shit.

The husband of one of the people I worked with at my last job got the flu shot, along with everyone else in his office. The next day they were all
sick, every single one of them. Not mildly either, they were all at home in bed for the next week. The doctor said it had no relation to the flu
shot they got either, complete denial lol.
My 3 year old hasn't had any shots, so far so good. She's already had chickenpox which I was surprised about, I didn't get mine til between 8-10.

Good info. There are so much information and disinformation out there. I do trust our doctor and she is not a big medicine pusher which is one of
the reasons we like her.
I have never had the flu and I have never had a flu shot. Same for Mrs. R83. We go back and forth on it.

every time i've gotten it, i wound up getting sick, so i usually don't. my wife and kids get it and they don't get sick from the shot, but they do
wind up getting just as many colds as i do.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

they give them out every year here at work.
I always got one.
This year I didn't even get a cold once.
This year the flu is already going around in here, and i work with some dirty slobs who are the types that refuse to stay home sick because they think
the company won't run without them.
They just announced we aren't getting them anyway, so I guess I won't be getting one, and will be getting the flu off of one of these jerks.
Recently they put hand sanatizer dispensers every 50 feet in here to prevent the spread.
It don't help when some dope sneezes on your keyboard.

They say if you're allergic to egg whites or chicken feathers then you shouldn't get it... cuz it will give you the flu. A little cold after the shot
isn't so bad though.

Alot of flu shots are not actually a shot. I had a yearly one in the service, it was a little tube and you had to snort the vaccine.
