I knew someone that did merch for the Marky, Dez, Jerry Misfits tours and he said that Jerry really still does it because he loves to and because people get psyched to see 'the misfits'. He said it really doesnt come off like its a money thing and hes not an asshole about stuff so even though most of the music hasnt been that great and most of the merch is ugly or stupid I at least semi-support him doing it.

All that being said I do wish that they would get a singer and be a real band. I like that Robo is playing drums and would prefer to see Doyle (yeah right), Bobby Steel or any of the other guitarists insted, but I dont mind Dez. The biggest problem is that Jerry cant sing!!

This band is a textbook trainwreck.

Of course Jerry is having fun. Whenever he needs money he can record an album of doo wop songs and tour on it with a bunch of other has beens and make bank off converted juggalos.

American psycho was a great record for what it was...after that they should have shut the door. They're a lounge act.

I really like Famous Monsters, but they should hang it up and call it a day. The merch will sell like crazy for many years to come, they should be happy with that.

Misfits are still one of my all time favorite bands but goddamn! When you piss your own brother off enough that he would rather work with Glenn Danzig, it's time to re-evaluate things.

I think Jerry sings pretty well. And he's definitely a super nice guy. I've played with them like 3 times I think and he even helped us load our gear in and stuff. But it's time to hang it up. Or negotiate with Glenn for a proper reunion.

Jerry is deffinetly wicked nice. Me and 2 friends talked with him for quite some time and the Rock & Shock convention. You call tell he really enjoys what he does for a living and that is all anyone could really hope for.

After a show in STL, he hung up his bass and came out to walk around in the crowd. Talked to anyone who asked him questions. He even answered some guy when asked about his hairspray and you could tell he thought the question was dumb but he answered smiling.

I talked to/with him briefly. He was very genuine and thanked me for coming out. He asked how long I have been a fan and it was in the 20 year range and you could see that he really dug that. Could not have been nicer.

When he saw me struggling with my amp and offered to help I saw his mouth move but in my mind I heard the Toxic Avengers' overdubbed voice come out.
