you know what...that's one of those bands I've heard about for a while but never got around to checking em out. I'll have to give a listen.

Baroness is starting to tour for this album...playing Chicago night before Thanksgiving. Baroness, next day off work, wife to drive me home after = bender of epic proportions.

you should definitely check them out (Yob).
they are pretty epic, most songs clock in at about 12 minutes or so.

All their shit is good but The Illusion of Motion and The Unreal Never Lived are both immense.
As is the new one The Great Cessation.

they are playing Europe for the first time in April next year and I'll kill somebody if I miss them.

Baroness has the best LP covers probably second only to KISS in my opinion n
