Revisiting The Bad Vibes (newer members, take note!)
Random's post reminded me...
It's been a while since I've sung the praise for brother gavin's former band, The Bad Vibes.
Newer board members that haven't heard the good word, I highly recommend you get to downloading!

This is straight up hardcore punk rock.
Simple and salty.
I know others prefer "Hate Your Everything" but in my book, "All The Right Ways To Do You Wrong" can't be beat.

When I first started posting here, a bunch of you guys made references to The Bad Vibes, and I was wondering how I had never heard of this
seemingly-famous hardcore band. Took a little while for me to realize gavin was the singer and that several of you guys are from philly, which
explained a lot. But the band is definitely one of those classics that wasn't appreciated it's time and will probably be forgotten. But it also
makes me happy I found the Thorp board and a great band I wouldn't have ever heard otherwise.

gavin posted here for like a year before he ever even mentioned being in a band. i only saw em one time before they broke up...with starkweather,
none the less, at the khyber. that was probably the biggest thorp board gathering to date... gavin, me, juan, kyleoz, moron, lord actionwood were all
in attendance. did i miss anyone?

I asked Mark,but don't remember what he said...he don't talk much,in the van...
but,BOY,does he like to dance when drunk!

we didnt fight each other
after the last show mark had a fight with some hipster goof upstairs at some dj night
then jesse beat the dude up out front
it was the show with starkweather
then me and mark had some stupid fight over nothing important
then we broke up
last saturday was the first time we were all together since
im glad
i love those dudes and the last thing i want at this point in my life is some weird bullshit with friends ive known for all these years
there was a fight the night we played with you
but if i remember right it was 2 random drunk fools

i remember what you might be thinking of
i didnt realize that was with you guys though but now that i think about it i think we played together twice
jesse broke a string and was a little drunk and was having some issues with changing it
after we waited for a while watching jesse try to fix his deal, mark got pissed and i THINK said something to jesse
they may have had words, i forget, but mark threw his shit down and split
i followed mark off
if i remember right it blew over by the end of the night and i think this was during the second song

again. First show in five years next saturday, july 10 at the troc balcony.
