IF you have 2 user accounts on your computer

Does that eat up twice the HD space and memory? I am thinking of deleting the user name that I never use. I noticed I have only 30GB left of memory on a 250GB computer. My last computer only had about 160GB used up and I just got rid of it.

I'm guessing you mean two separate accounts can log-in from the start up screen? The more computer savvy people on here can answer, but I'm guessing each account has a fixed amount of memory set to it (eg. each accounts has half, so each only has 125GB). I'm not sure how to delete an account an re-allocate the memory set aside for it. I would suggest getting an external hard drive (at least 250GB) and doing a full back-up of both user-name accounts before trying to re-allocate memory. you can get that for less than $200 easily (maybe less than $100).

worst case scenario is that after backing-up all your files, you do a a re-install of the operating system (Windows, right?) which wipes out everything. just copy the old files from your back-up.

it doesn't matter.

to check for yourself, login with one and check your hard drive space, then login with the other and check, it will be the same.

just delete some shit, or buy an external or a second hard drive for more storage. and you'll be good to go.

Cool. I deleted the other user, but as Dave said it doesn't matter. I got to figure out what is taking up all this space. O have an external for photos and a backup for my music. Still it shoudnt be that much space being used on the computer.

uninstall some programs you don't use anymore, delete some old shit, (if you have movies or videos, it will eat space quick)
Always try defragging your hard drive too.
