Pro-nounce Ramallah For Me Please
Something that has always stuck with me. Met Rob Lind in KC in 02 and told me about the band.
I am from the mid west and we pronounce it: Ruh-mah-luh
Rob pronounced it: Ram-uh-luh
Shawn Refuse in the trailer pronounced it slightly different then both examples above.
I'm curious how you see/hear it.

i'm sure it depends in part if you want to take on the traditional, ethnic pronunciation or just speak the english equivalent.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I say Ruh (like huh, but with an r) ma (like, "Hey, ma, can I get...") la (like la-dee-dah=. Or Rahm (like Buddhist Ommm..., but more ahh with an R
in front) and Allah like the Muslims worship. The latter is mostly cause I've seen how lots of Arab names (people and cities) can be broken down into
component words with religious meaning. Like Hezbollah is actually Hizb Allah means something like "party of Allah," though you'd never guess given
how it's presented to us.

Me too. Regardless, however Rob pronounces it is right; his band. And Mark gave us the teaser that there's more to be heard, and when that happens
this board will be the first to know I'm sure.

To be honest, I think Rob mispronounces it. I just looked it up and it is two words in one: Ram Allah (Height of God).

If Rob's pronunciation of the word emphasizes the "Allah" in the middle rather than the "M" he's doing it closer than any of youse! Haha. Or
newscasters for that matter, or me.. and I'm Muslim and fully know the correct Arabic pronunciation. I just go with the TV version, but it's not
correct strictly speaking.
