how do you modify a PDF?
Some company sent me a PDF and told me to fill it out and email it back. How do I do that?

Well, if they expected you to do that, they should have sent one that is editable in Adobe's free Acrobat Viewer. (If it's editable, just click near
a line or checkbox, and a cursor will appear for you to type.)
If it isn't... print it, fill it out, mail it back.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

BD, last time I looked, you can't save the changes on a fill-in PDF form if you're using the free version of Acrobat, so it won't help if he has to
email it back.
Mark, you can fill it in using the typewriter tool in Acrobat Pro, but it costs money. If you trust someone on here who has Acrobat Pro, send them a
u2u with the info and where it should be sent. Shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes for someone with Acrobat Pro. I have it in the office, and I
suspect BD has it at home. Some others probably have it, too.

you can open most pdf in photoshop or illustrator and edit them
