Heading to NY tomorrow..

...last minute thing, booked a flight tonight, going to be around until Jan 25th.
Any shows or anything happening in NY or surrounding states in the next few weeks?
I know about JC in NY and the baltimore thing this weekend and am currently torn between the 2!
Danny if you happen to read this, dont tell Dom or Tad or anyone im coming its a suprise!

you know, just today i was thinking about asking if you would consider bringing me something next time you came over. before you leave, would you mind popping over to the market and grabbing me some of these. i'm sure customs won't mind. and i know matt agrees it would be well worth the risk even if they did.

anyway, back to the question. here are the shows i've had on my calendar (even though i know i'm goign to none of them)...

- Friday, 1/8 in Boston: Hudson Falcons, Joe Coffee, Welch Boys, Refuse Resist +more. obviously, not as heavy as bmore this weekend, but a terrific lineup.

- Friday 1/8 in Baltimore: THOR, Pulling Teeth, Slumlords, NRSV.

- Sat 1/9 in Baltimore: Integrity, Ringworm, Pulling Teeth, more. (Unfortunately, Starkweather is no longer playing.)

- Sat, 1/9 in NYC: Joe Coffee. This is actually Paul's birthday, which oughta kick things up a notch.

- Fri, 1/15 in NYC: Hope Conspiracy. THE FUCKING HOPE CONSPIRACY, Martine. Please do not miss this.

If money were no object, I'd hit the Fri show in Boston, then the Sat show in Bmore. In fact, until money very recently became an object, that was my very plan for this weekend. But given all the friends you have in Bmore, this weekend will be a good time to be in town.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

damn.... I was hoping you and Thorp were still considering going to the JC, RR, Welch Boys show on Friday.

I'll be there... actually be there really early cause I'm gonna head to Boston right from work (3:30 pm) yuck!

Might stop by the Newbury Comics warehouse and see Mark McKay... other than that I'll just have LOTS of time to kill!

coming off the holidays and with everything else that's going on, i just can't afford it right now. if it's $200 bucks for gas, food & a hotel, that's a month worth of punknews.org ads right there!

that said, there is a show in the works for this spring for which we will absolutely be in attendance. more on that soon hopefully.

Im flying in to JFK, my friend is picking me up, we're going to B'more for the weekend and then....the rest is doing whatever comes up really! I know theres a WIC shoot we might go to and we also might go Erie for a day or so but we got no solid plans other than b'more and a show in NY the day before I head home again.
I'll mostly be staying at my friends apartment in NYC and my friends in PA.

totally understandable.... money is tight all around, I'm just lucky its only about 40 miles from home to Boston and leaving from work I'll already be 1/2 way there.

Hopefully you're talking about the RR CD release... that sounds like it will be a great show!

My flight this time around was about 330 british sterling which i think is about $530 at the moment
But bare in mine i booked my flight the night before it departed when the weather back home was real bad so normally at that short notice it would have been more.
I've never paid more than about 450 english for a return flight to NY.
