Sorry to hear that mate.
Nothing worse than waiting for bad news without any control over the outcome.
Living a life kept shut by a dream,
I'm reaching out to grasp my reality.
Hands of time wrap tight around my neck, and hit me so hard,
leaving me eyes black.
staring at a ceiling,
wondering why i never left,
penning words in a notebook,
wondering why haven't slept.
sanity is tapping in a cell
inside my fucking head.
begging for redemption
after hearing what was said.
the nights, they will not sleep
cause the days, have played for keeps.

I was a chef for 12 years then went into care work,The two places i got laid off from was going down the drain (cheffing)
It's always a strange sense of pride though getting laid off,its only work but you dont wanna leave like this. (if you get me) I went into care work
for a hell of alot less and it held more responsibility's and alot more stress. But i was happy, its just a case of finding either a middleground or
completly changing your job.
Its your life.

Good luck man. My company had a day like that 6 or 7 years ago where they restructured things somewhat and a lot of people got the axe in one day.
Everytime your phone rang you dreaded looking at the caller ID to see if it was an outside line or one of the admins. Terrible day.

Looks like one of my jobs is disappearing out from under me too, I feel your pain Sippers. I'm starting to think this is a sign that I need to move on
out of this fucking place. The massive, white out blizzard that's hitting us right now isn't really giving me a different idea either...

I hear ya!
That's been one of my problems, i don't want to get into that trap where i think it's ok to get drunk because i'm out of work and bored.
But on a good note i have a interview tomorrow/today at 3:30pm.
