Thorp Stats
Can anyone shed some light on how many disks thorp sells in a year or how many disks any certain band sells? By no means do I want to know revenue or
anything like that. That is not my business at all. I'm just curious. If I'm not mistaken you can get that info at Sound Scan or something like
that but that take big $$$ to get.
This is just a curiosity.

andy can answer that best, if he chooses.
the fact of the matter is, you've got...
- the number of cds actually pressed
- the number of cds that the band sells, and get sold through the site and other small distributors (which don't show up on soundscan)
- then you've got the actual number of cds that did scan through larger retailers
and i forget where the digital downloads are counted, but they do quite well (in my opinion, anyway, considering the lack of marketing and the
distribution channel).
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
