Cd wanted - NFAA's "A Thought Crusade"

Not the vinyl, I have it.
Not the mp3's - yuck.
The CD! Hawker version or that other label that put it out...
Used, new, whatever.
I'll pay decent $ for it, but lets not get retarded.

Thanks!

I found it pretty cheap on eBay or Amazon last summer, can't really remember which. There were quite a few available at that time, I think most were around new CD price and I just waited until one popped up in good condition for a little less than that.

Amazon = $230.00 new, $47.00 used so that is a little crazy...

Ebay has none right now.

Bizarre. I've come across several CD releases of various albums from various bands recently that are listed up for prices like that on both eBay and Amazon. It makes no sense to me, most of these aren't even that old and being CDs, they aren't really THAT collectible or anything. For example, I've really gotten into a band called Henry Fiat's Open Sore recently and their CD called Adulterer Oriented Rock gets listed for anywhere from 135 to 250 bucks regularly. By the way Mike, if you could get me a very good or new copy of that CD, I'd trade you for this NFAA CD you're looking for!

TireIron, wish I could help you man!
HA!

A lot of people are under the impression that cds are worthless, not the case at all, especially with Metal, Punk and Hardcore.

If you're a CD collector and it's a rare pressing...how could it be worth anything less than a comparable vinyl release in the same situation. I'm not justifying the price...but just because record collecting is conventionally more acceptable...

Guess I've just never really heard much about anyone collecting CDs aside from a few specially made for collectors type things, which this definitely isn't. I've even contacted the band and they don't seem to know why this CD is going for so much money.

I'm probably the only one hear who went searching for No Fun At All.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
