attn dudes with shaved heads?
Question....
How do you shave your head... Clippers? Razor? If you use a razor how do you avoid ingrown hairs and other shit like that?
I use clippers and I still get red bumps that suck and feel gross. What am I doing wrong?

gavin is pretty much on top of things here. using a guard or having someone else do it for you will probably work better, but neither is necessary.
go gently with no guard (make sure you've oiled the clippers - and go slowly) and you should be fine on your own. you might get some slight
irritation, but just avoid the instinct to scratch and it will go away in a day or two.

I have it done at like Super Cuts or something cause I cant do it myself and dont have anyone that can. maybe I should have it done with the smallest
guard on it... I hate to have it not done as short as possible though.

Only thing I can think of is that the clippers may be too dull or overheating, I vaguely remember those issues from waaaaayyyy back in the day when I
used some old beat up clippers that had never seen a drop of oil and had been tossed down a few times too many. If these aren't new clippers you're
using, I would recommend throwing down the 25 to 20 bucks it'll cost you to get a decent one and make sure you take good care of 'em and oil them
every time you use 'em. Of course, that's only if you plan on continuing to cut your own hair, no sense in throwing down cash for something if you
aren't gonna keep using it.

i've been using the same clippers for well over a decade now, as long as you oil them after every use, you should be fine.
It might be your clippers.
