Hey Duane, was my last post the type of mean spirited crap you were referring to yesterday. I'm very confused these days. I like the Thorp board but
sometimes my stupidity meter just goes off the charts. What's with hardcore people blaming metalheads for hardcore sucking these days; I don't get
it. As a matter of fact the most hardcore band I've seen in years was Hate Eternal at the Troc. They travelled in a small van and trailer, carried
their own equipment, spent time with their fans, and even though the turnout was low, they played with passion and heart. That, to me, is hardcore.

no, not really. i'm all for disagreement and debate so long as it's fair. besides, you didn't call anyone a retard cock gobbler, so that's cool.
you last post kinda got me thinking about the whole chicken and egg thing. is the problem that people have with metal that metal bands are trying to
sound like hardcore bands, or hardcore bands trying to sound more metal. six of one, huh? half dozen of another, eh?!
you know what i say... you don't like it, don't listen to it. in the mean time, gabe and i will be listening to skrewdriver.

retard cock gobbler, huh? ok, i'll cross that off my list of insults. as far as metal invading hardcore or vice versa, i don't know a single real
metal dude that has anything but disdain for hardcore, ESPECIALLY metallic hardcore. the guys in hate eternal are not sitting around trying to figure
out how to tap into the phony swedish metal craze that seems to have poisoned hardcore. i guess i should just face the fact that i'm a metalhead that
used to listen to hardcore and stop whining on the Thorp board everytime someone says 'metal fag'.

and for the record, there were bands that were able to fuse the fury of hardcore with the skills of metal, bands like Born Without a Face, The Cro
Mags, Dr. Know, and the greatest crusty metal punk band of them all, The Amebix. getting back on topic, kevin millar-red sox, and the already
mentioned tom cruise. bullseye!!!
