Hard Core Logo - Bruce Macdonald follows punk bank Hard Core Logo on a harrowing last-gasp reunion tour throughout Western Canada. As
magnetic lead-singer Joe Dick holds the whole magilla together through sheer force of will, all the tensions and pitfalls of life on the road come
bubbling to the surface.
The Execution of Gary Glitter - Shamed pop star Gary Glitter is to be “executed” in a new television programme examining capital
punishment….The 90-minute Channel 4 film reintroduces the death penalty to Britain and explores public attitudes to it. Glitter, whose real name is
Paul Gadd, signed the Sex Offenders’ Register last year after spending time in jail in Vietnam for child sex offences. ...In the drama, called The
Execution of Gary Glitter, the fallen star is the first person to be tried under the new Capital Crimes Against Children legislation

I LOVE Hard Core Logo. I don't know how you guys could hate it so much.

I liked it too, Hugh Dillon was great in the Headstones and was good in this movie, plus in Flashpoint he's awesome. Great all around entertainer.
Fubar was good.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Yup, Hardcore Logo is an excellent film.
Fubar as well, that is all.

Canadian doesn't have anything to do with it, as there's loads and loads of Canuck shit I hate. I just think it's a great flick with some good tunes.

What I meant is that it has, perhaps, a certain Canadian sensibility that you get that neither I and random do.
It was honestly painful for me to watch that movie.

Yup, great tunes, funny dialogue, and a very realistic portrayal of being on tour, especially the boredom and monotony involved.
