why does a fart in the shower smell worse than one outside the shower? Is it the enclosed space or is it some vaporization effect with the
steam/water?

No clothing barrier and that heat must make a huge differnece as well. SOmehting funny about farting the shower. Its so freaking loud and amplifyed.
