My son's idiot mom tried to pull some shit and take him today.
I didn't stand for it.
The boy's awesome, and way cooler a kid than I could ever have been, and is everything I never was.
He is the main reason I am still around breathing your air.
I slept till 11:00 today.
Gonna drink like 5 coffees.
Then we're going to head over my parents house and I am going to BBQ for pops and my mom and stuff.
Funny twist is, I got my son Phillies tix for the 10th of July, then on friday I hear that the Bad Vibes are playing....
So I am giving them to my dad, who is a lifelong baseball fan, and went and got tix for the Thursday game, which turns out is fireworks, so everyone
wins.......
happy dad's day Thorpers.

My dad has been living with us for almost 2 months now, things are going pretty good! Different lives we all grew up with, as long as you do the best
YOU can as a dad then you're golden. My dad wouldn't win any parenting awards but without him being the man he is and doing the best he knew how I
havn't a clue how I would wind up, but looking at my mothers other child that has no father it wouldn't have been a pretty childhood.
My dad is my best friend.
My man's son is his.
Even my dogs pup was his.
I'm a lucky girl.... no matter how much I bitch about being surrounded by all these dicks.

Shit I should probably call home or send him an email. Always forget Father's Day because it's in September down here.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Father's day has been amazing today. I'm truly blessed. I was very fortunate to have a great dad and he's still an amazing guy. I also credit my
wife for being my best friend and partner. We are due with #2 in 8 days. We are pumped.
I'd also like to give a shout out to the single moms. They are the real heroes.

I've been away from my boy for almost 3 months now, busting my ass to get set up here in PA and move him and Mrs Moral here. Thank God I fly back to
Oregon to get the road trip back to PA next Sunday. Sucks to be without him, he's done 2 4 week long swimming classes since I've been gone and
graduated both with flying colors.
On the way back to PA we'll be stopping by my parents' place for a couple days. It'll be the first time we've seen them in 2 years.

My father is the "man". Taught me all I needed to know and was there for me any time I ever needed him. Don't know what the hell I would have done
without him. I love the guy and can't wait to be that kind of father to my kid when he/she arrives.

woah, is there a pending arrival?
or is that more of a 'when the time comes' comment?

I just got home from a week spent with my kiddo in Florida. Her birthday is the day after Father's Day, so it was really cool to get to see her for
both of those days together. Man, I still can't figure out how it's been 9 years since she was born though, time really needs to start slowing down.
