ever lose $10 million while drunk?

This guy did: http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/06/30/trade-drunk-ref...

Quote:

Mr. Perkins had just returned from a drunken golf weekend with colleagues in June last year when he sat down in front of his laptop at his home east of London and started to place bets on Brent crude futures, the Financial Services Authority disclosed in a report released Tuesday.

He continued to drink and place bets through the night and by the morning of June 30, 2009, Mr. Perkins had placed more than $520 million worth of trades, at one point pushing the price of oil to $73.05, an eight-month high. Mr. Perkins’ trades were the main reason the price gained about $1.65 a barrel in just over two hours in the middle of the night, according to the report.

In his defense, he only lost about $100,000 of his own money - the fine he paid after getting caught. The $10 million wasn't his money. :)

That moron is a fag.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

$520m worth of bets and only $10m down is a pretty good record lol

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
