There's a Hannaford's up here near me that sells something similar at the deli counter. I don't believe it has significant alcohol content, else they wouldn't be able to just sell it like that.

I would try it if there was no alcohol content, but I dont know if Mustard gets cooked or not.

Mustard does get cooked as part of the manufacturing process, yes.

One of the last steps of mustard making (yes, i looked it up...just for Honus) involves heating the mustard paste and any liquid added for flavor and allowing it to simmer before cooling it down for bottling.

I'm sure this is no different than any other food that is prepared with booze and the actual alcohol burns off during during the manufacturing process.

juan, got it at wegmans.

honus, it was the first time i had whole grain mustard. i expected it to be wicked strong, but it wasn't. it had very good flavor, and i liked the texture it brought to my sammiches, but it was not crazy over the top or anything.

I have been using Mr. Mustard lately.
It sounds generic, and comes in a small jar, but I really love the stuff.
