Refuse Resist Updates
First, we are welcoming long time friend and fill in bass player Jamie Payette to the band to fill the gap that we consistently need to fill. He has
played bass with Refuse Resist for on and off a year now.
We don't really know what happened to Don, seemed like it was going to be good, but we parted ways.
We also have some good things going on. July 30th we are headlining a show again. (it's been a while so it should be fun) in Tewksbury, MA.
August 29th will bring us what we've been waiting for 20 years. The return of DYS. We are honored to play with such an influential Boston HC band. Not
to mention the other bands on the list: Gang Green, FUs, Jerry's Kids and from today Soul Control and the Revilers. I hope some of you can make it
out.
People of NYC that want to come up for this insane show, there is a bus being chartered. I think it's $55. It includes roundtrip bus from CBGBs to
Club Lido, and the price of admission into the show.
We will NOT be making it to Europe this year because of confusion and miscommunication (and lack of communication to us) between all involved. We are
really bummed but will make it our priority to make it next year.
In September we will be doing a little 3-day thing going to CT, NJ and Long Island...more info as we get it. We'll also be playing a great show in
Western Mass on the 18th of September with long time friends Blood Stained Brindle.
Refuse Resist also hopes to make it for a long weekend to the west coast. More than anything we want to hit Vegas in October seeing how three out of
five members celebrate their birthdays in October. We are thinking Vegas, LA, San Diego, Something else. Anybody over there want to help book it?
I think that's about it right now. We are going to start writing again as well, now that we have a final lineup again.
