Today is my dad's 75th birthday.
The guy still looks really good for his age and is still tough as nails.
He still cuts his own lawn, asphalt's his own driveway, drinks his whiskey straight up and nearly gets into fisticuffs with his annoying neighbors
half his age, who'd he probably beat up.
Our relationship has improved a lot since by brother died, and we get along and agree on a lot more shit and don't argue about nonsense anymore.
I'm thinking if maybe, I had listened and paid attention to things I should have listened to, and not the shit I should have been ignoring I would be
better off at this point.
