post awesome stage dive pics...

I was looking through a lot of the pictures from Sunday while sitting at work and a kid I work with (whos favorite band is Kenny Chesney) was asking questions and doesnt get it. I wanted to find some awesome stage dive pics to show him. Some crazy stuf like high dives, back flips etc.

I dont care whos in them, I just wanna see some cool ones to show him.

Heres one of me from Sunday, which is far from awesome, but its me and its got Dave Smalley in it so I'm excited!

My all time favorite...

Whenever I think of "Stage Dive" I think of Jet from Sam Black Church!

Ahhh the memories. We are playing with Jetfuel (Jet and Ben's new band) early next year I think. He brings it every time.

Good punk/HC/oi shows coming up. Check out http://myspace.com/refuseresistband

There's one of George from Alexisonfire jumping off the speakers at Opera House over 5 years ago but I can't find it.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Weird.
I was gonna make a thread about Sam Black Church on here today and then I see that photo.
Nobody I chat to over here seems to know anything about them.
I fucking love Let In Life and that EP with the purple cover (is it just called the 'Boston EP').

About a year or two ago I bought up their entire discography. Great fucking band.

I'd love to get hold of a shirt with just the logo on front but can only find long sleeves with the cover to Let In Life and they look a little sketchy.

Can't quite tell from the angle (it's been a while and my memory is fuzzy), but was this taken at the old old Lupo's? Was this the show with Youth of Today and Wrecking Crew? That show was legendary for its' violence.

I think you're right about Lupos, not sure the lineup, Steve told me about this picture the first time I saw it, but I can't remember, lol.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the same show, unless he does that at all AF gigs. I believe he had managed to get himself up to the ceiling fixtures, and came down from there. So technically, not a stage dive :tumble:

I just remember thinking what a tiny place the old Lupo's was to have a show like that.
