Chopper's Hellfest...
Hey everyone...Am seriously thinking of heading to Hellfest this year and am sort of at a loss and have a few questions...
My plans were to stay in NEW YORK from the 11th Aug to 18th Aug then head down to Trenton and book somewhere to stay....My thoughts were that if in
New York i could catch the Neglect re-union and then maybe any othere shows that are on..
Were is the best place in New York to stay that allows me to see everything i suppose i should see and be accessible to trains and buses i suppose.I
was thinking that then on the Thursday i could just get the train down to Trenton for Hellfest.
Any tips any 1 has for me would be much appreciated..

Chopper -
NYC's bus and subway system is so vast, it really doesn't matter where you stay. To get down to Trenton, it's probably easiest to take a NJ Transit train.
As for other shows, well, you probably couldn't have picked a better time to visit:
Friday, 8/12 - Murphy's Law
Saturday, 8/13 - Neglect reunion
Sunday, 8/14 - GB
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Well Taking Sides rules thats for sure. Is toe to toe still around?
Jungle Fever & Stronghold will take over the world in the next year or so.
Hellfest smells like ass, I'd never go to it.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I guess I expect more from a band who's had members in Buried Alive & Despair plus whatever else they have done in the past. For old dudes the music
is boring as fuck. Stronghold is tight.

I heard something about DOnnybrook down under before the year finishes but don't know if its true.
This seems true though:
Internal Affairs & Champion, December Australia. Its on the IA website already, thats fucking sweet, Champion is amazing. The IA demo was rad too
but after that I haven't been able to keep enjoying them as much.
