God What An Awful Racket

Just saw Gwar for the first time in 10 Years...

Forgot how much I like taking loads of hot alien blood, piss, and cum, in the face while dancing to songs about raping children.

Played a a good mix of old songs, but I miss the days of the shows having more continutiy in the story line... now it;s jsut random carnage...
they did kill Palin and Lady GA GA...

The casualties opened...
I'll keep my thoughts about sellout street crust punk to myself.

Gwar is shit. Always have been and always will be. Live shows are amusing, but after one show you have seen them all.

BKT.

I saw them 5 times at the Troc in Philly between 91-95.

each time was fuckin hillarious and fun.

a friend of ours recently went to one, and I asked how it was and he said something like come on man how could it not rule....

the one GWAR guy lives near us.

Techno Destructo maybe, I forget.
He likes getting drunk is all I know...

finally gotta see 'em 3 years ago in Santa Cruz, my favorite part was when they cut Bam Margera's little penis off. I'm sorry you had to deal with a Casualties set & the infinite amount of "punk rock points" them & their fans have, which I'm pretty sure has some corellation with how many studs/patches are on your jacket & how much gizz you put in your spiky hair

record collectors are pretentious assholes

I love GWAR's live show, but never cared much for the music.

Techno is one of the super OG guys. I think he came up with a lot of the mythos and art.

The Ham on the Bone/Crack in the Egg/Gor Gor trilogy at the beginning of America Must Be Destroyed is brutal. That being said I haven't really liked an album of their's since that one.

exactly. I've seen them a few times, stayed far enough back to watch the show and not get gross.
