Thanksgiving

Everyone, have a good one and be safe! Hug your kids and whatnot. Smile if ya can.

I am congested and cranky. Got the day off and I'm stuck fending off a cold. I was supposed to do a 10k but had to back out because of this sickness. I am not happy about that but I am home with the people who matter most. The wife and my son.

Be good everyone!

I just got a haircut and ate Chinese Food.
I think I am walking down the street to get a 6 pack of Storm King (BD inspired)
Tomorrow we are going to my girl's brother's place.
He is the funniest guy I ever met, so it should be a good day.

My hatred of Christmas has bled over into Thanksgiving but I hope all of you have a good day with family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and for those of you who are lucky enough to be able to spend the holiday with your families appreciate it even if they are crazy. Those of us who can't at least be thankful we have a day off of work.

Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

I'm working 3-8 tomorrow. We're making a spiral ham and baked Mac and cheese befor I go in. Friday we're having the bird.

The man spent today making 4 pies and a couple breads. I could get used to having a housewife. ;)

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Hope you stuff your faces.

We are having a big vegan feast... and no friends! Haha. Just us.

Also, this day coincides with an important day on the Islamic calendar this year so I'm mostly celebrating that. I'll still be wearing my "All My Heroes Killed Cowboys" t-shirt in support of American Indian people and in commemoration for their slain ancestors!

Grandparents, parents, uncles and shit. Family has an issue with heads being stuck up asses.

Long story short. My wife and i like to entertain. Every year thanksgiving is at my place. THat was the plan again. Grandparents wanted to visit a extended relative 3 hours away because of illness. They announce that like 1 month ago. I'm cool with that, but then my father and uncles ended up wanting to go without inviting my wife, son and I. I am completely fine with that as well to be honest. I was looking forward to it. Peace and quiet with the ones that matter most. Then, they cancel the that visit/ trip and now some people are bent because I basically said sorry, we had to adjust our dinner/day for just us because they already bailed on us. These fuckers actually expected us to bend over for them. Fuck you. Spending time with family is really important to me and when you bail on me I ain't going to be your sloppy second.

Ah, yeah that does suck. Sorry bro.

We tend to spend Thanksgiving alone here because our families are so far away, and we don't necessarily give a shit about Thanksgiving as a tradition.
