NYC people...

I was wondering if someone could help me out...

I want to order some bagels for the wife and she is addicted to Ess-A Bagel in NYC. Thing is, they charge about $40 shipping to ship a dozen since they do overnight shipping. I only live in NH so I figure priority shipping from NYC would only be about 2 days which isn't bad.

I was wondering if someone close would be willing to grab a dozen or 2 and send them up in a priority flat rate box which only costs $14.50 and I figure should fit 2 dozen bagels no problem.

The address for the bagel shop is...

831 3rd Ave # A

or

359 1st Ave, New York

Let me know if anyone is down to help me out and we can work out details, or if anyone has any other ideas, let me know.

Wish I knew about this sooner.
I was in NYC with my car yesterday.
Had some Essa Bagels, in fact!

If it was me, I'd spring for the overnight shipping.
These things are best when they're as fresh as possible.
H&H is also up there and their shipping looks like its a little less.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

She would murder me if I got her H&H... ;) That is like Red Sox / Yankees to her...

She loves em' fresh but she also would stock up when we go down and put a supply in the freezer so I don't think it is TOO much of an issue if it means I can get more of them for less money.

Do you need these for Christmas, or is this a 'whenever' gift?

I'd offer my assistance,but I'm lazy...I'm not gonna lie.I'll forget.

I love a good bagel (although NOT from any of the places mentioned),but it wouldn't hold my attention long enough to know that I gotta stuff 'em into a box, then go to the post office...Me typing that out was nothing I'd ever imagined writing...Not being a dick, just being honest...

Will learn to Tap Dance,eventually...Will have you broads Hula,definitely...Trust me,you'll see.

Totally cool with that response. Not everyone wants to take a trip to the post office, THAT'S for sure!

Troy lives in NYC now, but I ment Justin Justin, not Spoony Justin. Didnt he move to NYC or did he not move yet?

Problem solved!

http://www.zabars.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-Zabars-Site/...

I even found a 10% of coupon code so it was $21.55 for 18 bagels and has free shipping.

Not EXACTLY from her favorite bagel place or her fav flavors, but it is from a place in NY that we love so it should do the trick.

$1.19 a bagel instead of $3.75 a bagel (if I ordered 24 from her fav place at $90)... yeah...

I'm sure she will!

We are all about Zabars coffee but never had the bagels though I am sure they are good. We order 4 lbs of it to get free shipping and usually her father gets 2 bags so we don't have to buy 4 at a time.

For the price of those bagels, it's worth a shot! Bagels at bagel shops around here cost just as much.
