cds, dvds, books, some art and yes, vinyl. i got a couple power moves on the horizon i'm considering and i'll need to be flush to execute. still
kickin' it around. youz'll be the first to know.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Absolutely get rid of CDs and DVDs. Save a digital copy and sell the original. I always hate getting rid of books, and I've done it a ton, but there
are very few books that you'll miss. I'm guessing the same things are true of the vinyl, though I expect that to be more sentimental.
Not sure what you have planned, but good luck... and let us know if we can help.

much as i love having cool skateboards hanging on my wall, i'll take the twelve hundred.

Yeah, post it up here first. Nobody wants to keep you from making what you can on it, but keep it in the family if possible!

just have to make sure that its not something you will ever want because 9 out of 10 times you wont rebuy the things you've sold (I'm speaking for
myself here but in the wrong person). I hate to let anything go, but Random is probably right about the CDs and DVDs. Unless youre a book collector
then theres no reason to keep something you wont reread or use for reference and even at that, you can get used books so cheap that it might not be
worth keeping. The other side of that is that most used books are almost worthless.
Vinyl... I'm so partial too that its hard to see anyone sell theirs. I wanted to sell my records a bunch of times over the years and I'm SO glad that
I didnt!
Hope that the stuff you have planned works out. Shoot me a message if you need anything.

Start encoding & ripping those DVD's, when you're done post a list so I can let you upload copies to my FTP
After that sell away.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

i just gave away all my burned cds to make room.
I have them all in digital files.
I don't buy DVDs anymore.
I like keeping books, but they take up space, are worth nothing down the road, and rarely have I read something more than once.
I let my girl trade them on swaptree.com...........if any of you read a lot, it's a pretty good site to use.
I will never sell vinyl again.
I got hooked on ebay years ago and sold off too much crap to even think of.
shame on me.
bu then again, it takes up space in my small place.

All right, so I've just about got everything all cataloged.
Looks like I'll be unloading about 450 hardcore and metal CDs...
Maybe another 200 hiphop, jazz, country, club, classical.
Everything plays fine, most are like new.
So whaddaya think is a reasonable price to sell em for?
$5 each, with discounts at like 5 or 10 CDs?
And don't be a cheapskate and tell me $1 each!
I'm tryin' to be reasonable and fair here!

I think maybe $3 for really common, popular cd's, and $5+ for harder to find stuff. Then I would also add a bonus for those who buy a certain number.

yeah $5 on average is probably a fair price, but I dont know if you can blanket it at $5 each unless you wanna do $5 but 3 for $10.
Selling used CDs is hard becuase stores pay so little for them, but eBaying them in a pain in the ass!

Ya, ebay sucks for selling cds.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.
