Hypocrisy of democracy is in full effect right now. It's so important that we are dumping billions of dollars into Afghanistan and Iraqi to develop
it there. And Tunisia? Power to the people!.... but hold on a minute...Egypt is our buddy. We need to keep the region stable for the good of the
global market and security blah blah blah. Aggravating as fuck.
Pardon the ignorance but what are they protesting/rioting over? Don't have cable and I typically try to avoid the news anyway so I'm in the dark
about this one.
Egypt President Hosni Mubarak has won every re-election by a landslide for the last 30 years. Of course he was legally the only candidate able to
run. Since 1981 Egypt has continuously been under a State Of Emergency Law which suspends constitutional rights, legalizes censorship and allows the
government to indefinitely detain individuals without reason. Thrown in a booming population, rampant corruption, and a floundering economy. One
thing I found interesting was that unemployment is 10 times higher for college graduates then those with elementary school educations. This group
comprises a large percentage of those taking to the streets, hopefully they can put that education to good use and build a decent government.
This picture was really moving. Couldn't find a source for the caption, but if its true that is some heavy shit.
Today the military failed to protect a group of peaceful protestors in Cairo from the attacks of a pro Mubarak crowd. This picture was taken after a
soldier, apparently distraught at his military's failure to protect the protestors, tried to take his own life and was dissuaded by the man on the
left.

What the fuck is up with that picture during that rap video of the 2 kids holding guns to the other little boys head while he is crying? Fuck this
shit, these people will stab you in the back just as fast as you help them.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.
