Their like 30 here foe the Boston show, but that's before they add the fees to it so it makes it almost $40 . They do put on a really good live show, if you can afford it I would say go you won't be disappointed. Wish I had the money to see them this year.

I don't get why bands charge such high prices. Do they really need to get paid $100,000 per show? If I were in a famous band then I'd cut prices in half and just plan two shows per city. People would appreciate it more if they could save a few bucks and they'd probably be a more loyal fan.

Great band live, but I would never pay that much to see them.

always wondered if it's the bands or the venues/promoters thinking they can get away with charging that much, i'm sure some one here can set me straight on that.

I saw them for free since I worked next door to the club they played at in 06' or 07' I think. It was OK, not worth $43. I payed something around that to see The Pogues last year, & it was worth every penny

A band that has real drawing power pretty much dictates the costs of the tickets. When their agent sends out feelers for the tour then they have an asking price. Often times the ticket price is a matter of simple math ($100,000 charge for the band divided by 2500 tickets for example). It gets more complicated when you get some band that has the nerve to ask for a lot and also says they don't want tickets to cost more than $X because then it sets an added strain on the promoter to sell more tickets.

I saw them open a show with the Bosstones, Dropkick Murphys and Avail around that time. I think it was around 2001 or whenever their first record came out. They stole the show out from under some incredible live bands that day.

Ya, it was around that time. I never heard of them but I went to a Red Sox game and someone was handing out a free promo CD for the Bill's Bar shows. I checked out the Cd and liked it so I went to the shows. They werent really that packed and the capacity there must be somewhere around 250.

My junior year in college they played the gym in my college a tiny state school with 3 other bands in 2004, my school had no money so there is no way they got paid much. they have been good every time i have seen them though.

Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

Really good live but these prices are fucking ridiculous.

I dislike the E Factory in Philly.
However I thoroughly enjoyed Motorhead there in 2008.
It ruled.
But alas, I try and avoid it and it's overpriced everything.
