"In a hands-on demonstration of Thunderbolt, Engadget was able to see a 5 GB file transferred in just a few seconds. The connection was also capable
of playing four simultaneous uncompressed HD video streams from a RAID device."

I'm still in the age of the Commodore 64.

What is the difference from my macbook? Why would I sell my year old macbook and trade up for the new macbook pro?

Unless you've taken up 3D model rendering or feature-length HD movie editing, you shouldn't. Thunderbolt is a brand new, high speed data transfer
technology from Intel and is (for at least the rest of this year) only available in brand new Macs. It's for the likes of people who work on massive
files that are stored on massive external drives.

10Gbps! lol that's pretty sweet. SATA3 is pushing up to 6Gbps now. These increased speeds need HDD's to match, larger SSD so backups can be done
super fast.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
