OUCH!!!! I haven't had any chest work done yet but I'm considering it. How much does it hurt compared to say.... the inside of your biceps?

I found the inside of my biceps to be worse. I was all ready for this to be the worst pain ever and it turned out to not be that bad. There were a few spots that were painful like where the samurai's head is and parts of the sternum, but over all it was really not too bad at all. And that is saying a lot because I sit like a bitch.

Thanks for the response. I didn't find the insides of my arms to be exceptionally painful until the artist told me that it's a known trouble spot. Then it really started to hurt like hell!

I didn't think the chest was terrible either, but I may have been under several influences...

Just had a chest tattoo done on Saturday. Considerably smaller than yours, but I found that some parts were a little more painful than others. But I agree in that the inside of the biceo (or really, any part of your skin that doesn't get much sun) is probably the most painful. My daughter wants one for her 18th birthday on her ribs, and I've already warned her that that one's going to hurt. My claddagh armband was more painful than the chest one, though.

I found the stomach to be somewhat painful.

i didn't think the inside of the biceps was all that terrible even though I was told how bad it was by all the tuff guy bikers in the tatttoo shop.
I had figured on the front torso and ribs being way worse.
then again, back when I was getting tattooed I was only sober from the time I woke up until I started moving so you do the math.....

I'm probably the only one here without a tattoo :D

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
