Rancid fans

If you were looking for a few Rancid songs to jam with your band what songs would you pick?

So far we have Ivory Coast and Roots Radicals, but would like to add one more. Suggestions please.

BKT.

Ruby Soho, it was the first song my band in high school ever did :D 2 of us made a video of it as well for our media class in grade 10 or 11 lol.

Rancid currently in my Winamp playlist:

Ruby Soho
Hyena
Detroit
Radio
Salvation

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

great album....lost my old cassette of it a few years back. I always liked Outta My Mind on the first album......as far as the newer stuff, I've really been digging Civilian Ways

When we were first starting out we did hack versions of Roots Radicals, Ruby Soho, Timebomb, Salvation, Radio and a few others. They're easy songs to play but deceptively difficult songs to play well. Lars' guitar playing borders on metal dexterity, Tim solos like a son of a bitch and I think everyone knows about their bass playing. But they can be fun to hack up.

We settled on Roost Radical, Otherside, Ruby Soho and Dead And Gone from the B And C Sides album.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

And yes Mark you are right, while the music sounds easy and more or less is easy, to really nail it right is actually rather difficult.

BKT.
