I can't listen yet as I'm at work, but that band name is so fucking fitting for a stoner band.

Stoner 1- Dude, what is a windhand?
Stoner 2- It's like when you take your hand and raise it up.
Stoner 1- YA?
Stoner 2- And, and you let it fall straight down, ya know?
Stoner 1- Ya?
Stoner 2- And, and you feel the wind bro.
Stoner 1- Ooooo. Dude, sweet.
Stoner 2- Some say, its like the butterfly effect or some shit.
Stoner 1- Butterflies are way cool.

Female singer...it sounds like Sabbath Meets Electric Wizard with Perry Farrel singing. Killer epic riffs. If you only check out one song make it Winter Sun.

Heap Wolves and Winter Sun both really good tunes. Summon the Moon not so much. It took forever to begin to rock and when it did I was left feeling un-rocked. Also, is this trying to be a concept record? Because every song starts off with storms.

I'm digging the tunes, but the vocals not so much.

awesome! you won't be disappointed.
i've caught them three times now and every time is like a religious experience.

check out some of my friends' bands.

Slabdragger - total Sleep and Floor worship. The song 'Iron Vulture' is huge.

Age of Taurus more traditional doom metal

tickets go on sale in a few weeks for Roadburn festival in Holland. They've only announced a handful of acts but it's always a great weekend.

Yeah I'd love to go to Roadburn, a couple friends went last year...I don't know that I could take the hit financially for that trip right now though.

I wanted to go to Rites of Darkness in Texas in Dec...Pagan Altar is going to be there...but some other stuff came up. Plus Cold as Life is playing Chicago that weekend now so it ended up working out!
