damn - awesome update from mark lind
I'm guessing most of you get his occasional email updates, but I thought I'd re-post it since he confirms some of his recent teases here along with
other great news.
Highlights (for me, at least):
Confirmed new Sinners and Saints recordings (probably a 7" or digital EP)
Three previously unreleased recordings for sale on Bandcamp. One is unreleased Dirty Water and two are live sets with the Unloved.
Compulsive Fuck-Up on Bandcamp now comes with the three songs Mark put up for free on iTunes (that I lost in an iTunes crash). Jeff from The
Bruisers/Unloved/Death & Taxes had (has?) them up on his site streaming as "The Sushi Sessions" or something like that.
For those in the States, a Dirty Water reunion next May.

Hey everyone. I think this is the first time in all my years of
playing music that I have news to report on ALL the bands I've played
in over the years. So we'll take 'em one by one:
DUCKY BOYS
Head over to www.duckyboys.com [1] and hear New Chapter, You Sing the
Chorus or Medicine that are from our upcoming release "Chasing the
Ghost" which is scheduled to be released on our own label, State Line
Records, on January 17. You can link from there to pre-order or you
can just pre-order at our merch site http://buyourmerch.blogspot.com
[2] using PayPal. It's available on CD, LP (with download card) or
digitally. If you pre-order it digitally then you get 3 songs
downloaded immediately.
Our first show back after over 2 years will be taking place at the
House of Blues in Boston on December 28, 2011 with the Mighty Mighty
Bosstones as part of their annual Hometown Throwdown. H2O will also be
on the bill. Tickets are currently available at this link:

SINNERS & SAINTS
After years of peolple haunting me I can finally report some news to you. Sinners & Saints will be returning to the studio on November 18 to record a
few songs. What will come of them? We'll have to see. More news on that to come. Likely a 7" or digital only EP. Will there be another full length?
That depends on how things go in November. Maybe.
MARK LIND & THE UNLOVED
We'll be doing our first show since December 2009 this coming Thanksgiving Eve. As it stands now it's the only one we'll be doing any time soon. You
can catch us at Great Scott in Allston on November 23 with The Scars, The Blue Bloods and The Welch Boys. You can get presale tickets here: http://www.greatscottboston.com/
There is also a new site up at www.mark-lind.com where you can get digital versions of "Compulsive F*ck Up" (with bonus songs previously only available on iTunes), "Homeward
Bound" and two different live shows by the Unloved
EBENEZER BLOOD
Our first show with Helmet and Gozu went off pretty well. We're
working some angles now to have a busy January. In the meantime you
can stream songs or buy our cd at www.ebenezerblood.com [7]. Craig is
currently out on the road ripping it up with Blood for Blood but we
hope to pick things back up when he gets home.
DIRTY WATER
Also after many, many years of people asking we have two things to
report in the Dirty Water camp. First, you can now download our "lost"
album of demos at www.mark-lind.com [8]. These songs were recorded
LIVE in 2003. Some of them were re-worked and appeared elsewhere. Some
of them have never been heard until now. But they are LIVE. We didn't
do overdubs. We sang and played live on these tunes and, while there
are some clunker notes here and there, I think it does a good job of
showing just how great of a live band Dirty Water was.
On that note, mark your calendars for May 18, 2012. Details will be
coming soon but this will be the day of the one and only Dirty Water
reunion show. The band fell apart abruptly in October 2003 and we
never did an official final show. We're older and friendlier these
days so we want to do a show as a send off and to play for all the
people that never got to see us. We're also hoping to see some
familiar faces that came to all 72 of our shows that took place
between October 2002 and October 2003. We have a few ideas up our
sleeves that will make it fun and if ticket sales demand it then it
could turn into two nights but this is a one-time event that has been
a long time in the making. We'll be hoping to see you guys there when
the venue and all the details are announced. In the meantime, pick up
those unreleased songs and learn the words cuz we're gonna be playing
everything we got.

Sinners & Saints hit the road, tour Australia in 2012.
That headline was missed
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

HA! I wouldn't expect even a local show. I'm pretty sure that Rob is comitted to returning to BFB before he does anything else live.
