Thinking of getting a snowplow
for my 4x4 Jeep Liberty to make ends this winter. Anyone ever do something like that or know of someone who has? What problems did they run into? Did
it work out for them?

a good friend of mine plows. my old man used to, too. obviously, you gotta line up the customers. the hours are LONG, esp if you plow all night
then have to go to work when you're done (i know where you are with things right now, i'm just passing along the biggest grievance). then you've got
the potential for damage to your vehicle and (if applicable), insurance. can't say i've ever seen a plow on a jeep liberty!
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

^^^^^ Yo CR. What do you mean? Unreal money to be made or unreal money to spend on a plow blade? Buying a blade for the truck is around 2200 and the
hitch would be around 400. That sets me back a lot, but if I could make money doing this it may be worth it. That would be the plan anyway.

I was told today that most people just drive around and get flagged down my people when starting out, but I'm not sure about that gamble. However, if
I were out shoveling with $20 to burn in the pocket and saw someone drive by with a plow I'd flag them down.
I'd imagine the Liberty would be a good vehicle to do this with. Compact, yet powerful.
I was checking out/pricing snow throwers today and thought I might go that route but then I'd have to lug that in and out of the liberty. That would
be a hassle.

The money you make is great and it is cash. Yes, you totally get flagged down by people who don't want to shovel their driveway. I say get the plow if
you can.

I know two people who plow...once we get a good snow they're out for like 24 hrs straight easy. Just a matter of getting payment. My brother in law
does it for someone and is constantly dicked around.
