I definitely dug the new DKM and Social D albums. I'm probably in the minority here but I really liked the new Rise Against album too. Seems like it
been a slow year for punk/hardcore, then again I haven't been following it that closely.
Support the arts, shoot a rapper.

I agree that is was a slow year. There were the obvious choices out there, but it took me a while to comprise this list to be honest. Cool part about
it though was that the albums that were good were really fucking good and I enjoyed going back and rocking them again.

the only new releases I've picked up this year was Sheer Terror Spite, the Booze & Glory/Harrington Saints split, Meatmen Happy Fuckin' Easter Asshole
7", & a 7" from a Portland band I saw called The Chemicals. All good. Picked up a lot of great old music this year though
record collectors are pretentious assholes
