Found out
I am the 23rd great grandson of Henry the 3rd of England...
I got into researching my dad who I have never known, and found his blood line all the way back...
amazing how far from the royals we have fallen...
all I could find on my dad currently is he was serving time in 2007 for dealing
same reason my mom left him when I was 2
ancestry.com is a motherfucker though...
I used the free trial thing and will probably print this shit up and delete my account in a week
finding relatives for the 12th century from France, Scotland Ireland and England is fucking mind trip... especially when you had no idea who your
grandparents on that side were
they have immigration documents, draft cards all kinds of crazy shit
unfortunately my moms side ends with my great grandparents coming over from Sicily and from Poland but I will keep searching
anyone else use that site or crazy into your family history

I might have to look into mine.
figuring there is a long lineage of angry Irish drunks on my dad's side and socially retarded Germans on my mom's side

yeah I want to go over and see some of the castles, and see if any of the paintings resemble anyone I know
I have a renewed sense of history
my grandfather on my dads side was both in WW1 and WW2
that's freaking crazy

A few people in my family have spent a great deal of time putting together our family tree on this site. www.geni.com/ I've learned some cool stuff through there.

yup I'm done I think...
I just go to this point
Odin WodenWuotan (215 - 300)
is your 59th great grandfather aka Odin of asgard... aka the realm of Norse Mythology... it was a real place in eastern asia
he was a real person and also the Overlord of ANGLO-SAXONS...
and his great grand kids were
all royalty including
EDWARD I of Wessex "The Elder" King of England (871 - 924)
all hail granpa odin...
time to drink, eat, and prepare for glorious victory

I am VERY clueless on my family history so I should probably do this at some point, especially with now having a son that will go "Dad, where is our
family from?" and I give the same vague, dead ended, info-less answers my mom gave me.
