When the words "Some you hope you never wake from" and he walks into the boys room and pulls the blanket up, I am not going to lie. I lost it. I actually have tears in my eyes.

That looks like a very moving t.v. show? Man I hope that does not suck, because I expect it to be something outstanding after that trailer.

The pilot was on On Demand. It's good. Jason Isaacs does a great job, and the supporting cast is really good. I'm a fan.

I watched it and it was pretty good and has potential. I am hoping that is doesn't just get to where each week he uses pieces from "both sides" to solve cases in each side. I could see them phoning it in like that. Too many TV shows get a "formula" and just rinse and repeat each week.

Take Fringe for example (at least season 1). It was the same show with just a little progress on the main story line where I am more of a fan of shows like LOST where you have no idea what the next week episode will have.

I wasn't into it. I really was thinking it would be good, but I have no idea. I was thinking it would be more.

exactly. the crossover elements of the first episode were kinda weak as far as building a case goes. i hope that had more to do with time constraints - in this first episode, they really had to build the backstory and get viewers caught up on this guy's deal, and that didn't leave much time for the actual police work. but yea, they gotta be real careful.

I liked the first episode, so I'll keep watching for now. I agree with Monty about using shit from both sides to solve cases. That'll get old real quick. That being said, for one episode I didn't mind it.

Exactly. Cool concept, i am just hoping they use it sparingly and not have every episode have an exact formula (ALA: Law & Order: SVU).

SVU (more or less) in 7 parts...

Intro: Rape / Murder
1st: Gathering info
2nd: Get a lead on a suspect
3rd: Wrong suspect
4th: Start to track down the right suspect / some sort of twist
5th: Catch the guy(s) / girl(s) involved
6th: court case
7th: DICK WOLF

I win...

Watched the first 3 episodes and I am done. Anyone hanging in with this one? I think I saw BD say he was still watching.

how many episodes are there so far? i haven't watched at its scheduled time once yet, always on demand. maybe see three episodes but plan to watch more. definitely proving formulaic.

the most intriguing bit was those people in episode two talking about 'did you use the little guy to take care of his family'. maybe the reality/dream thing is not what it seems? but then there was nothing further on that in episode three. guess i got a few to catch up on.

I think they are on #4 now. I am sure it will work into something, but I can't deal with THAT blatant of a formula.
