I have a guy who MIGHT want to buy my ticket, but he is on the fence.

I got caught up in the hype of all these clowns I know going so I got a ticket.

Weeknight shows kill me anymore.

H2O played a really good set!! I thought Bad Braind where decent. They started off really good but then got a little weak in the middle (to much of the drawn out reggae stuff for me). They ended really strong. That isn't much of a revue but I figured I would give my 2 cents!!

I see Honus got an autograph.

HR had a prop guitar which made him standing still kinda tolerable. His voice was great and he even did the robot during a song.

He had some big smiles so he was into it.

I think the reggae songs (there were like 3 or 4 but each one 7 minutes lol) were my pee break intermissions.

The crowd was very tame for this kind of show in my opinion.

You gotta figure it's gonna a whole hell of a lot different in Philly too, with the GZA on the bill(that's worth it right there to my mind, more than Bad Brains.).

I thought they were really good. Not like the 81 CBGBs dvd, but I did think they were good. HR moved more than when I saw them a few years ago. Like Shawn said, he had a guiar that was plugged into a DI box, but there was NO sound. He 'played' along to about 3/4 of the songs.

They did do some reggae jams. but Earl, Darryl & Doc are so good that its rad to just watch them play even if you're not totally into the song.

I was happy with the song selection overall.

Also H2O was really good and I'm sure that GZA will be interesting to see too.

Bad Brains had a TON of merch! 8-9 shirts, a sweatshirt, a back catalog of CDs, tapes (yes tapes), can coozies, playing cards, vinyl, picture discs, pins, stickers and the Pay To Cum reissue on black vinyl and a tour exclusive on blue vinyl limited to 300.

I wanted to stay longer after the show to meet all the guys, but I had to get home. I was able to meet Darryl (my favorite bass player of all time) and he signed my 7". Wish I could have at least stayed to meet HR too... stupid work!

I say if you have tickets... GO!

I ut my ticket up on Craigs List just to try and get my money back.
I can't go at this point due to parental responsibilities.
If I do get the urge to see a crazy dreadlocked homeless looking rastafarian, I needent go further than 69th Street Terminal which requires no admission fee.

Not bad.
Still not going, though.
Koffin Kats in Harrisburg, instead.
