does anyone else feel different...

than when they were growing up...high school, college etc...i just find myself wondering what went wrong, or what i should have done differently than i did in the past..i find myself running into people from days gone by and feeling inferior to what they are doing these days. im not ashamed of where i am as much as im surprised where others ended up...sorry, its just weird as i get older and i see people from 5 or 10 yrs ago doing something productive with their life....new ramallah will make me feel better...(HINT) haha, kidding....see ya

oh man.....
i am the only one (minus 2 or 3) of the friends i grew up with thats not coming in and out of prison or is a full blown heroin addict. i dont feel like i have accomplished much in life, but have tried for the most part to try and be a good dad, and dealing with the boys other parent makes it a tryiny task. i dont make a fortune and dont expect to, as long as i can get by and do what i have to and still have a few bucks in the end, i guess i am making it OK.......

it's nothing to fret over.. everyone has their path in life. some have it better than others. you gotta be happy with what you were given. if that's not good enough than do something about it.

some people get it handed to them, others have to bust their asses.

I totally get what your saying. I feel that way all the time. Im responsible and I work and save money and pay all my bills. Ive never been in trouble or anything, but it seems like all my friends have all of a sudden 'grown up' and it sucks. 2 got married and then had kids. Another is 31 years old and might join the army because he doesnt like his job and might have to move. Another is tired of living where she is and might move across the country. And this whole time Im sitting at my (good paying) shitty job that I hate and going home posting on message boards, collecting hardcore records & action figures, reading comics and a bunch of other crap that sometimes I feel like I shouldnt want to do anymore.

Oh well...
