It's funny, go to CNN and it says Hurricane laying waste to New orleans...........and Green Day swept the VMA's........I guess they did well to be honorable mention to a waste laying Hurricane.

I watched it. The only good band to play was Green Day, they played at the very beginning and they played Boulevard, which should never EVER be played again. I love Green Day, but that song is overplayed and overrated. Every song on the new album is better than Boulevard.

After that it was pretty much the Vibe Awards. Rock and Roll was otherwise represented by the likes of Cold Play, Kelly Clarkson and My Chemical Toilet. R. Kelly did some sort of one man show thing the made me laugh histerically (it wasn't a comedy skit. I'm assuming he was serious).

Soon after that, I realized I was wasting precious moments my life watching, and turned it off.

I love the new Green Day album, but I agree on the rest.

i dont like much mainstream rap, but ilike some of his socially aware stuff.

just take a look at the papers
your leaders
they\'re killers
they\'re liars
what they do in your
name to make the bodies pile higher
the murders, the terror
they\'ve done it forever
as we sit band and smile
at the script they sell us
but now the victims, they\'re rising
their numbers\'s multiplying
they want their revenge for the years
that they\'ve been dying

I watched the beginning of Rome and was very bored to be honest. I will most likely give it a second chance and love it though.

I went with the 4400 and Deadzone Season Finales on USA

KyleOZ, you should definjitely give Rome a second shot, it was awesome Def Star. The setting for the story is well written, not sure if it's historiclly correct or not but it is good. The part where the two soldiers on the quest to get Ceasers ceptor back and they sack a mob of barbarians to save this kid is great. One of them proceeds to bash on the face of a barbarian and collect his teeth, and the full frontals of hot women isn't so bad either. check it out, it will be on a shitload I am sure
