I never understood how any of those things worked. Do the referals have to actually buy something? Do people really get the free iPod, Xbox, tv or whatever it is they are trying to get?

you have to sign up for one of those online offers listed on there (you'll see it after you create a profile) and then I get credit for a referral. Apparently it really works.

my online offer might actually work out for me. I signed up for a credit card and Im gonna take advantage of the 0% balance transfers for 6 months. Plus, the APR is lower so I hope I get approved. Then I'll just ditch one of my other credit cards!
