for people with color tattoos... a question
just wondering what everyone uses on their ink with alot of color.... I just got a new piece and I usually use lubriderm to help with the healing of
the tattoo.. But this piece has a shit load of more ink than I am used to and am back to using a & d on it.... what should everyone suggest because I
work as a stocker at albertsons and full time at home depot as a freight team guy.... thanks yall

i've always used vasaline intensive care lotion. just the regular kind, not with aloe or vitamins or anything.

lets it air heal.....

i've always used it until completely healed. and in most cases, i've continued to use it like once a day for another month or so - just to keep my
shit soft as a baby's backside!

I use the Lubriderm for sensitive skin on my stuff. Works great.

All my tattoos are full color and I always get told that they're the brightest colors anybody's seen, I haven't gotten any work in over a year now and
my ink still looks almost brand new. I usually use a very thin layer of an ointment for the first two or three days and then switch to Lubriderm with
no dyes or perfumes until it's done peeling. Generally the best person to give you advice on this is your tattoo artist, at least if you're going to a
reputable one....
Sorry if I sound snotty, but I thnk I do a damn good job takin' care of my tattoos.

I always pescribe Bacitracine to my clients for the first 72 or so hours and then as Bad Vibes said, a water based skin lotion to keep moist, the
trick is not to apply too much, you need to let air get to it for proper healing and no direct contact with running water or sunlight as well as no
soaking. Just the suggestions i prescribe. I find alot of the reason color tattoos fade so much is only 50% care, the other 50% is the type of ink
used. Definitely find out what type they use, I prefer starbrite, it produces the best results bar none I have ever seen and have not found an equal
yet.
