Have you ever hooked up with someone you met online?
these days, meeting someone online isn't that big of a deal. whereas dating services seemed pretty cheesy or desperate in the 80s and most of the
90s, these days i don't have one 'single' friend that isn't on nerve, jdate, eharmony or match.
but what about trolling aol, myspace or craigslist for someone to hook up with? i know a few people that do this, too.
what about you? have you ever had a relationship, however long, with someone you met online?
i haven't been single in a long time, so i never had any of these technologies at my disposal!
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I did once/ But it didn't last long.
but I honestly don't think it's the way to go... maybe I dating service is fine... but I'm not really about it.
All the girls I would like to meet live to far because Toronto is SHIT.
There is an abundance of people on these sites that are just as useful as tits on a bull. And there are many women that are afraid to even meet
someone, alone at least, that they have met online, I mean it makes sense, theres tons of creeps, but you know, I have tons of them coming to me and
saying I'm hot and oh how they wanna meet me and so they add me to msn or aim, and what happens, they never do, so I get sick of offering. It's
retarded. Unfortunetly, there are no women into hardcore that are exactly, available, there are none for MILES here. And since most people cannot
handle what they don't understand, loud heavy music and a culture that scares them, both, hardcore and sadistic hiphop I'm into. It makes my pickings
a lil slim.
If was into Rich bitches like at my university, and Club bitches, I'd probably be set, but I can't handle them, I'm not catering to anybody that much.
and I stress the word "bitches" used for many of those types of women.

too many times. i actually got one into the sack, which is a pretty big accomplishment for me. unfortunately, she was ignorant, stupid, zero sense of
intellect and whiny although she a had a good life.
although, i would much rather prefer a chick which wasnt in to hardcore. hardcoregirls tend to be pretty un-intellectual. i like my women smart.

I met my old lady the old fashioned way, face to face on a blind date fixed up by a mutual friend, and we are going on three years married with a
three month old little girl, who is everything to me. I have a friend who met someone online and they are now going on three years married as
well.........once in awhile I think it goes right, they both got lucky. They wed win the courthouse and went to GWAR for their reception, it was
pretty cool

I have, and I've been with her for almost 3 1/2 years now
It wasn't a stab in the dark though. I had a friend (a flesh and blood one, not online) that messaged me and said "There's this girl I talk to online
and she's single. I think you would dig her cuz I know ya like em' hefty!" (btw, my friend is a shallow piece of shit, but he was right.... I DO
indeed like em "hefty")

I met a girl on here, meaning the Thorp boards, and ended up being in a long distance relationship with her for just under a year. I never, and I mean
NEVER thought I would meet anybody that way, let alone actually get involved seriously due to something like that, but I was online between 8 and 14
hours a day at the time, so maybe it's no surprise. Before anybody says anything, realize that I was working a job that required me to sit in front of
a computer all day and we were free to do whatever we wanted online during that time, so no, Im not QUITE as big a loser as those hours make me sound.
Anyway, she's a great girl and I wish her the best, but I hope to whatever god there may be that I never get involved in another relationship like
that again. Long distance shit sucks so much.
For those of you old school Thorpsters, she approached me after reading some of my rants on the old boards, so that should tell you what kinda girl
she was/is.

A few... One I met in real life before the whole deal, but we didn't get along or really talk. It wasn't until I laid the online smoothness on her
that she took a bus 2 hours just to spend the night with me (and clean my apt).
I dated a girl from the Trustkill board... that ended badly. Nice person, we both had issues.
I randomly hooked up with a girl via friendster, she was a cute grad student from RPI. Last time i talked to her she was taking a job around here for
like 90,000 a year.
Then there was a Milf who was 5 years older then me...
After my last break up there were a couple offers that I didn't expect, I swear B9 board is more about hook ups then hardcore.

I have never hooked up with anyone over the internet. I've made some good friends with the people on the thorp board though!.
Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

Ive met plenty of people via the internet, and most have been very cool. As for chicks, I met a few several years ago and I had some interesting
experiences. I dated this one chick for a month. A month to the day she told me she wasnt interested in me anymore. Stupid me dated her again maybe
4 years later and the same fucking thing happened, but the second time she didnt tell me she wasnt interested anymore she just stopped returning my
phone calls. I truly was a moron when it came to her. I went on one or two dates with other chicks, and it never went anywhere because one chick was
a bit aggressive when I completely wasnt into her and the other I was into but she wasnt into me. This all happened back in my freshman year of
college. After that I stopped meeting chicks over the internet.

I'm old fashioned and mine started on mIRC haha. There wasn't even Friendster when I started going online and the latest version of Internet Explorer
was 4.x or some shit maybe even 3.x. Met a few fine ladies in the same small chat room and now many years later I am married to one of them and
living in Australia.
Started chatting seriously in like 1998/99 and phone calls/letters followed and kept serious, came here to meet in 2003 then she came to Canada to
meet the family last year and now we're here & married with a kid due in March/April.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
