Hey I know it's traditional to be drunk before talking to yourself in a thread on here but I'm gonna try it sober...
Talking of folk music, i got this 3 CD "best of Woody Guthrie" thing today and it's brilliant. I never heard him before but a lot of the lyrics are so
political they'd show up most "hardcore" bands these days... anyone know any similar shit I should be checking out?
And i never knew Anti-flag ripped off the "This machine kills fascists" thing from old Woody.

Seriously I have been meaning to get some of his recordings. MY OHIO HISTORY Professor was going off about how important he still is to music. What is
that called? I got to pick that up.

I got this one, but it might be a UK only release. I'm sure you'll find something similar...
